The Egg Bowl

The Egg Bowl is the annual football game played between Mississippi State University (Starkville, MS) and The University of Mississippi or Ole Miss (Oxford, MS), each the other's major in-state rival. It's traditionally played the week of Thanksgiving, and often on Thanksgiving Day. The two teams play for a trophy that they refer to as 'The Golden Egg'.

Why yes, I am in fact carrying the golden egg in this photo, and no I did not steal it or drop it.

In a past life I used to have to be on campus for work during football games. It's a lot less fun than it sounds, even with an all-access pass. It's definitely not the way you want to spend a Thanksgiving.
